The City of Orlando expanded its fleet of clean-running hydraulic hybrid Autocar E3™ refuse trucks to 18 recently. With their low fuel consumption and increased productivity, Orlando officials estimated the move would save the city more than $300,000 per truck over each of their 10-year lives – that’s $5.4 million in operational savings for the current fleet.
